1st day :
We leave by car until “Gavidia” (3200m), a small village near Mucuchies in Merida Paramo. 5 hours trek to the Valle of Las Lajas through the tipical Paramo vegetation, with frailejones and amazing views. Overnight in tent.
2nd day :
5 hour trekking to the small hamlet of “Carrizal” where few family are still living. Today the vegetation change and the cloud forest begin. Overnight in tent.
3rd day :
From “Carrizal”, 7 hours of hard trekking going up and down until el “Alto La Aguada” through the cloud forest. Overnight in tent.
4th day :
4 hours trekking until “Santa Maria de Canagua” where the flatland begin and our adventure camp, at the border of Siniguis river, in Caño Grande. Dinner and overnight in our camp.
5th day :
Options to do the activities available in the camp like : rafting, kayaking, tubing, canopy o zipline and climbing wall of 12m. Departure from the camp by jeep to Barinas (at 1 hour) o to Merida (at 5 hours driving).
